In Tents
Thor hasn't gone camping in a few years.
The last time he went camping, it was with Jane Foster, Darcy, and Darcy's intern, who Thor was pretty convinced was her boyfriend. For most of the trip, Darcy and her intern were fighting loudly; Jane was constantly on her cellular phone because her calls kept dropping and there was some emergency at a conference she was guest speaking at; Thor spent much of that first evening casually eating a bag and a half of marshmallows at the fire before Darcy voiced her protest and he was barred from eating more for the rest of the trip, much to Thor's dismay.
Thor might have overpacked for the trip, but Thor was of the mind that it was better to be overprepared than under -- and that it was better to have too many marshmallows than not enough. When four hours had passed and they reached their destination, he set down their belongings and began to set up camp.
"I never pegged you for the camping type," Thor says, pulling the tent poles out of their sheath. Maybe he was, and Thor had just never known it. It just always seemed like Tony was into tech so much that he couldn't stand to be without it.

By the time he looks back at the tent flaps, Tony's silhouette is gone. He drops the water back down at the tent, then unzips the flaps and joins him.
"Thought it might be a good time for me to cocoon as well," he says, using Tony's word for it.

Thor leans on his elbow and watches Tony for a moment, not saying anything. He wouldn't ever describe Tony as beautiful or as a butterfly, but he is handsome. Thor's pretty sure he knows that already, though.
His eyes shift away from paramour and down to the massive tome he's focused on. "What are you reading?" he asks, running an idle finger along the outside of Tony's earlobe.

"Can't use it, myself, but I'm looking for any overlap in "standard" physics. I feel like I should be a little more open-minded at this point."
no subject
"It just occur to you to be open-minded?" he teases. "What triggered this sudden change of heart?"

"Actually, I was thinking of asking you to let me do the work."

Thor grins, his expression almost cocky. One of many things he learned from Tony.
"And what work is that?"

Right now, he's both at once.
Thor immediately wriggles on under.

"Coming up on a month."

"Are anniversaries important to you? You never struck me as particularly sentimental."
At least until recently, anyway. When they talked about old times, it definitely straddled the line of sentimental.

"Oh, Tony, you care? You did something nice?" He mouthed the clasp of Thor's jeans, the metal clinking with his teeth. "So off-brand."
Not that he didn't deserve it. The first times he tried to be nice involved getting Pepper a box of the one fruit she was allergic to as an afterthought. That was a good seven years ago, though.

"You just build up this big image in the public eye," Thor begins, "arrogant, narcissistic, untouchable." The sort of person who wouldn't reminisce about their playdates on Earth two years before or commit an anniversary to memory.
"I love seeing the parts of you that contradict that. And giving you a hard time over it."

"Thanks." Tony poked his face out from beneath, letting his palm pick up the slack.

It's at moments like these that he wishes Tony could see himself and perhaps have some understanding of how truly adorable he could be at practically any given moment. How Tony could manage to look adorable to Thor when he had his hand on his cock was utterly beyond Thor's comprehension. If Tony had not insisted upon his lack of magical prowess and Earth had not been known for its sorcerers, he might have thought he'd been enraptured by some sort of spell.
"If your hand is going to stay down there, I'd prefer your mouth to be up here." Thor taps a singular finger against his lower lip.

"Do you know how long I spent--" he paused to let Thor's tongue drag across his teeth, "glamming the tent?"
no subject
"How long?" he asks.

Except --
Thor exhales, in a shuddery little gasp as Tony's tongue runs a path along its shaft in just the right way.
-- when he's having this good of a time, it's pretty hard to deny its existence.
"Fuck, Stark."

His mouth isn't even on his cock but fuck it if Tony doesn't have a natural knack for finding his weak points.
"-- if it's like this," Thor manages to finish. "Do you enjoy teasing me this much?"
