Hence my need to re-adapt when I leave here, so I can live with something resembling stability of mind and other people can just live.

I do want you to be happy when you return, even if you stubbornly refuse the path to choose it.

This place is something like a perfect storm of circumstance that, yes, is letting me get close, at least. (I think. How would I know?) When I go back, based on all I've heard, there won't even be a mediocre breeze. I'll consider myself to be doing well if I can hang on to basic stability.

No matter what path I choose, 'happy' is... unlikely.

I wish you didn't have to know when you return. I just hope you make different choices when you return.
